Chinese CNPC is implementing four oil and gas projects in Kazakhstan

CNPC and Samruk-Kazyna have reached new agreements for the future.

The Kazakhstan National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna and the Chinese National Oil and Gas Corporation CNPC will jointly develop the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan.

The relevant agreements were reached on June 6, 2023 at a meeting in Astana. On the Kazakh side, the negotiations were headed by the head of the Fund N. Zhakupov, on the Chinese side – CNPC President H.Chijun. They discussed current issues of cooperation and reached new agreements for the future.
