Qatar Energy has signed a long-term agreement with Shell on LNG supplies to China

Qatar Energy has announced the signing of a long-term agreement with Shell for the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to China. According to the agreement, 3 million tons of LNG will be supplied to China annually from January 2025.

Qatar Energy stressed that the conclusion of this agreement reflects the steady growth in demand for natural gas in China. However, the details of the term of the agreement have not yet been disclosed by the company.

This cooperation strengthens QatarEnergy’s position as a reliable partner in the global energy supply chain and underscores the importance of China as one of the world’s largest LNG markets.
