ChinOil Completes Major Upgrade of Offshore Platform Safety Systems

ChinOil announced the completion of a comprehensive safety systems upgrade across several of its offshore drilling platforms, replacing aging emergency shutdown equipment with more advanced automated systems.

The upgrade includes improved gas detection sensors and faster automated response protocols designed to reduce reaction time in the event of an equipment malfunction. Company representatives said the project was completed ahead of schedule despite the complexity of working on active platforms.

“Safety upgrades like this aren’t optional extras, they’re core to how we operate,” said a ChinOil operations manager.
