The Israeli company will start producing gas in Morocco

The license Boujdour Atlantique is in the southern part of the offshore economic zone of Morocco and issued for 8 years.
The Israeli company NewMed Energy announced a partnership with the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Morocco and Adarco Energy for exploration and extraction of natural gas offshore in a North African country.
According to NewMed Energy CEO J. Abu, the company has long realized the huge potential in Morocco for cooperation in both the natural gas and renewable energy sectors.
Each company will own 37.5% of the license of the Moroccan deposit Boujdour Atlantique. The remaining 25 per cent will belong to the National Hydrocarbons and Mines Authority of Morocco.
