China’s CNOOC announced the start of oil production at the new blocks of the Kenli 6-1 field

China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) has announced the start of oil production at blocks 5-1, 5-2, 6-1 of the Kenli 6-1 field.

The Kenli 6-1 structure is in the lower Taipei uplift in the southern part of the Bohai Basin at an average sea depth of about 19 m.
