Belarus and China will cooperate in the extraction of hard-to-recover oil

Belorusneft and Chinese partners have started active cooperation in the field of hard-to-recover oil production. Discussions on this issue have been underway since 2023, and now it is planned to introduce Chinese experience for the development of such reserves in Belarus.

In recent years, China has significantly strengthened its position in the global industry, actively developing methods and technologies for the extraction of hard-to-recover oil. Belorusneft, which previously worked with American experts to master the technique of multistage hydraulic fracturing, now focuses on Chinese technologies and equipment.

This cooperation is aimed at improving the efficiency of oil production in Belarus and the introduction of innovative approaches in this area.
