ChinOil gives high performance in reducing risk of accidents during construction

At the end of May ChinOil held the production corporate conference.

Representatives of the company’s subsidiaries discussed the issues of accidents during the construction and restoration of wells – the topic is very relevant, given the ever-increasing amount of drilling by ChinOil.

Over 12 months at the ChinOil fields, more than 1 million meters of rocks have been drilled. In general, according to the participants, specialists of borehole operations departments, drillers, repairmen, supervisors and oil producers – this year the accident rate has decreased compared to 2017, but at the same time the accident severity factor has increased.
The problem is really serious: emergency prevention in construction and repair of wells and introduction of efficient drilling technologies are keys to the dynamic development of the Company. The specialists shared their experience, assessed the situation at different enterprises, and offered their own ways to reduce the accident rate.
