ChinOil Rolls Out Predictive Maintenance System for Pumping Stations

ChinOil has introduced a predictive maintenance system across a number of its pumping stations, using sensor data and historical performance records to anticipate equipment failures before they occur.

The system flags irregular vibration patterns, temperature spikes and other early warning signs that often precede mechanical breakdowns. Company engineers said the approach has already helped avoid several unplanned shutdowns since its rollout began.

“Unplanned downtime is expensive and disruptive. Predictive maintenance lets us stay ahead of it,” said a spokesperson for ChinOil’s engineering division.
