ChinOil Upgrades Control Systems Across Pipeline Network

ChinOil has completed a major upgrade of the control systems governing its regional pipeline network, replacing older monitoring infrastructure with more advanced digital controls.

The upgraded systems allow for finer-grained pressure and flow monitoring along pipeline segments, improving the company’s ability to detect irregularities quickly. Company leadership said the project was carried out in phases to avoid disrupting ongoing operations.

“Modernizing this kind of core infrastructure takes time, but it pays off in reliability for years to come,” said a ChinOil operations manager.
