Qatar state-owned company Qatar Energy has signed a long-term contract with the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) for the supply of liquefied natural gas to China.

According to the Qatari News Agency, the contract, designed for 27 years, assumes that Qatar Energy will annually supply 4 million tons of LNG to China. The signing ceremony of the agreement took place on Tuesday in Doha.
