Wintershall Dea presented a development plan for the Norwegian Sea

Dvalin North will invest NOK 8 billion (EUR 780 million) in the development of the field.
The German company Wintershall Dea has announced plans to develop the Dvalin North gas field in the Norwegian Sea, which will help increase gas supplies to Europe. This is stated in the company’s press release.
The Dvalin North gas field is located about 200 km from the northern coast of Norway at a depth of 420 m.
The reserve is estimated at about 84 million barrels of oil equivalent, and the gas will be transferred via the Polarled pipeline to Nykhamna.
Also on December 12, Equinor announced that the frist phase of the Askeladd gas field in the Norwegian sector of the Barents Sea shelf has been launched.
